Managing Attorney

Attorney Leonard T. Mathis Jr. is the managing attorney and the founder of The Law Office of Leonard T. Mathis. Attorney Mathis graduated from Emory University School of Law, after obtaining his undergraduate degree from the prestigious Morehouse College. From the very beginning, Attorney Mathis focused his legal education and experience towards a career in litigation and trial work. He always knew he was made to be a trial attorney. Attorney Mathis has represented hundreds of injured people, and has recovered millions of dollars on their behalf.

Today, Attorney Mathis works hard for each and every client. As a native of Metropolitan Atlanta, he truly values the Atlanta community, and the opportunity to fight for the people truly injured by the negligence or misconduct of another. Aside from the legal services he provides, Attorney Mathis takes the time to serve in other ways as well, often volunteering with Hands on Atlanta on weekends, as well as routinely serving breakfast at local soup kitchens. Attorney Mathis has also been mentoring youth in the Atlanta area since 2004.

Attorney Mathis is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Gates City Bar Association, the DeKalb Lawyers Association and the Atlanta Bar Association.
